EXTENDED HOME - GOSSOPS GREEN, CRAWLEY

This semi-detached property in Gossops Green sits in an extensive corner plot. As more space was available to extend than a more straight forward rear extension, a single storey rear and side wrap around extension was designed to accommodate a beautiful open plan kitchen and diner. Typically, a side and rear single storey extension can be achieved under permitted development, however where both parts meet, this requires a house holder application. Ellisdon Architectural Associates secured planning permission before moving onto the more detailed building regulation stages. Being at the end of a run existing drainage was quite tricky. A full drainage diversion and connection application was designed and submitted by Ellisdon Architectural Associates and approved by Thames Water Developer services.

"In January 2018, we instructed Ellisdon Architectural to design our new kitchen extension and submit for planning permission for work to commence. Ellisdon Architectural  Associates was highly recommended to us by friends that had used Scott and the team for recent projects to their family home. Going into this we had an idea of what we wanted to achieve of which we discussed in detail with Scott. Scott then gave us a selection of suggestions for consideration which would add many benefits from not only a functional perspective but also to give us the Wow factor. After numerous conversations with Scot, we agreed on a design and this was drawn up and submitted for planning. Scott processed this from start to finish keeping us constantly informed on the progress and obstacles which sometimes arise from a planning application however Scott dealt with these seamlessly.

Our extension project is now complete and because of Scotts knowledge, personal interaction and customer commitment and professionalism we now have a kitchen extension that has surpassed our expectations. We cannot thank Ellisdon Architectural Associates enough, they are superb !"
