This new build contemporary dwelling is a replacement home in a rural plot near Cranleigh. Careful consideration of the ridge height was required to keep the massing reduced in line with the existing, now demolished, dwelling and also the neighbouring dwellings. This design provides open plan living with mezzanine floors for the modern day family. The structure is timber with substantial structural steel work to allow the large areas of glazing to operate with hinged openings.  Ellisdon Architectural Associates provided the construction and timber frame drawings for this project.
